⚡ Another full house rewire recently completed by VoltFlow.ie

A look inside the newly installed three-row Hager distribution board, showing the new wiring, organised circuit connections, neutral terminals and protective devices before the cover was fitted.
The completed distribution board with clearly labelled circuits. Individual RCBO protection was provided for sockets, lighting, kitchen appliances, the boiler, water heater, pump and external supplies. Surge protection was also installed.
The completed Hager distribution board installed, tested and ready for use. Every circuit is clearly identified, making future maintenance and fault-finding safer and easier.
The distribution board was recessed into the wall and finished with a discreet flush-mounted door, keeping the installation neat while allowing easy access when required.
The complete installation was inspected and electrically tested, including insulation-resistance testing. The results passed the required limits, and Safe Electric certification was issued upon completion.

What was needed

The property required a complete electrical rewire to provide a modern, safe and reliable installation throughout the house.

The work included:

  • Complete replacement of the existing wiring

  • New sockets installed throughout the property

  • New lighting points and switches

  • Installation of new spotlights

  • Long-corridor lighting controlled from five different switches, allowing the lights to be turned on or off from any switch location

  • New weatherproof outdoor sockets

  • Dedicated circuits for kitchen appliances, heating equipment, water heater and external supplies

  • New three-row Hager distribution board

  • Individual RCBO protection for each circuit

  • Surge protection for sensitive electrical equipment

  • Clear circuit identification and labelling

  • Full inspection, testing and Safe Electric certification upon completion
