1. About these terms
These terms apply to use of this website and, unless different written terms are agreed, to quotations and services supplied by VoltFlow.ie. Contact us before accepting a quotation if anything is unclear.
2. Quotations and scope
Quotations are based on the information and access available when prepared. A quotation covers only the work and materials described in it and remains valid for the period stated. Hidden defects, unsafe existing installations, additional work requested by the customer or changes required after opening up may require a revised quotation or agreed variation.
3. Access and customer responsibilities
You must provide safe, reasonable access to the property and relevant services, disclose known hazards, and obtain any permissions or approvals for which you are responsible. Delays, aborted visits or additional work caused by unavailable access, incorrect information or unsafe conditions may be chargeable where reasonable.
4. Appointments and cancellation
Please give as much notice as possible if an appointment must change. We may reschedule where work cannot safely proceed, materials are unavailable, an emergency occurs or circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent attendance. Any applicable cancellation or call-out charge will be communicated before it is applied.
5. Prices, deposits and payment
Prices and VAT treatment will be shown on the quotation or invoice. Deposits may be required for booked labour, specialist materials or larger projects. Invoices must be paid by the stated due date. We may pause further work or withhold non-safety-critical completion documents while undisputed overdue amounts remain unpaid, subject to applicable law.
6. Materials and ownership
We may use equivalent compliant materials where a specified item becomes unavailable, after discussing any material change with you. To the extent permitted by law, supplied goods remain our property until the related invoice has been paid in full, while risk passes when they are installed or delivered.
7. Standards, testing and certification
Work will be carried out with reasonable skill and care and in accordance with applicable requirements. Electrical or gas certification is provided only where the work and installation qualify and required tests can be completed. We cannot certify unrelated existing work that has not been inspected and tested.
8. Existing systems and defects
Older or defective systems can reveal additional problems during testing, isolation, draining, recommissioning or connection of new equipment. We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, but will explain material issues found and seek approval before additional chargeable remedial work where practicable.
9. Guarantees and complaints
Manufacturer warranties remain subject to their own conditions. If you believe our workmanship is defective, contact us promptly and allow a reasonable opportunity to inspect and remedy it. Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights.
10. Liability
We do not exclude liability where exclusion is prohibited by law. Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, loss caused by inaccurate customer information, misuse, unauthorised alteration, pre-existing defects or events outside our reasonable control.
11. Website content
Website information is general and does not replace an inspection or project-specific professional advice. Images are illustrative. You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access or copy its protected content for commercial use without permission.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Irish law and disputes are subject to the courts of Ireland, without removing any mandatory consumer protections. Contact ask@voltflow.ie or 087 715 7266 with questions.
