1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar browser technologies, including local storage, can remember settings without placing a traditional cookie. This website uses both where necessary to operate securely and remember your choices.
2. What we use
| Category | Purpose | When used |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Session management, security, form operation and remembering your cookie preference. | Always active because the site cannot operate correctly without them. |
| Analytics | Cloudflare Web Analytics helps us understand aggregated website traffic and performance. | Loaded only after you accept analytics cookies. |
| Marketing | Reserved for optional advertising or campaign measurement technologies if introduced. | Only after explicit consent. No marketing integration is currently loaded by the public site. |
3. Consent storage
Your preference is stored in your browser under vf_cookie_consent. It records whether you accepted all cookies, rejected non-essential cookies or selected individual preferences, together with the time of your choice. This prevents the banner appearing on every visit.
4. Managing your choice
You can reject optional categories when the cookie banner appears or use its preference panel to select categories. You can reset the choice by clearing site data for VoltFlow.ie in your browser, after which the banner will appear again. Blocking all cookies in browser settings may prevent essential functions from working.
5. Third-party services
Where an optional third-party service is enabled, that provider may process technical information according to its own policy. Links to WhatsApp, Google or other external services do not activate those services until you choose to follow the link.
6. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when website functionality changes. Questions can be sent to ask@voltflow.ie or raised by calling 087 715 7266.
